Studio Gratitude Spotlight: Rachel, Craig, and Jamie
A Big, Heartfelt Thank You to Rachel!
Rachel donated some wonderful pull tools for carving handles. They are already proving to be absolute gems in the studio, making the process smoother, more precise, and honestly… a lot more fun.
These tools will be shaping countless fabulous handles and inspiring many creative moments ahead. We’re so grateful for your thoughtfulness and support, Rachel. Great tools make great work possible, and great people make our community what it is. Thank you for being one of them.
A huge, technicolor THANK YOU to Craig!
Craig saw a problem, talked it through with his transformational cohort, Jamie and Marilyn, and did what makers do best: he imagined a solution and built it! The result is an absolutely brilliant shelving system for our glazes and underglazes. As if that wasn’t generous enough, he even came early to class to install it. Thoughtful, creative, and hands-on. We are so grateful!
THANK YOU, JAMIE!
Jamie created our new system for test tiles, speeding up glaze testing and studio efficiency!
YOU ROCK!
Kiln Room: Housecleaning and Reminders!
ATTENTION: Flammable Bats Found in the Kiln Room!
If you must leave bats in the kiln room, please be sure that they are not flammable! The press board bats are flammable and should not be left downstairs. Please be careful!
To whom do these initials belong?
Our kiln room and bisque/glaze shelves rely on studio members claiming their work in a timely manner. Without this, work will pile up, and accidental breakages can occur!
Please claim your work and ensure you are using an easily identifiable maker’s mark so completed pieces are easy to find.
Thank you!
