Clay Experience - Private or Group

Our Parties and Clay Experiences are joyful explorations into the world of clay, inviting you to touch, experiment, and discover its unique properties. Questions like “What happens if I squish it this way?” or “What if I use a tool to make a decorative mark?” become part of the fun as curiosity leads the way.

Participants receive one-on-one guidance at the potter’s wheel with an instructor, along with materials and step-by-step instruction for creating hand-built pieces. Then the real magic begins: you’re free to imagine, decorate, squish, pull, and roll clay any way you like.

In professional terms, this kind of hands-on exploration is called process. One reason it’s so enjoyable is that the focus isn’t on the final product. Instead, it’s on the experience of working with natural material, engaging your creativity, and rediscovering simple, genuine fun. Whether you come alone or with a group of up to ten people, sharing this process is our pleasure.

At the end of your clay experience, you’ll take home everything you create that day. (Please bring a large shoebox-sized container to transport your pieces safely.) Because the multi-week firing and glazing process is not included, finished items will not be food-safe or watertight. However, we’ll provide guidance so your creations remain beautiful for years to come.

Deposit Fees: Please note that a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your preferred date and party size. Your booking can be modified for up to three weeks before your desired date if availability permits. Please note there is a 10-person maximum.
